The Southside “Showcase” Community Fair is a family-friendly event designed to highlight all that South Lansing has to offer!  Admission, entertainment, and activities are FREE.

Thousands of visitors each year experience a unique and highly-rated afternoon. The 2011 Southside "Showcase" included the following activities:

·   The South Lansing Community Farmers Market:

Local, fresh produce, grass-fed beef, honey, baked goods, hot foods, music, kids activities, recipe samples and more! Market accepts EBT Bridge Cards, Double Up Food Bucks, Senior and WIC Project FRESH, Visa, MasterCard and cash. 

·    Live Entertainment by Local Talent, including:

    Pretty Shaky String Band (American Folk and Celtic Strings)

                 Habibi Dancers (Belly Dancers)

                 Powerlight Band (70s and 80s R&B)

                 Dylan and the Unionized Vaudeville Spectacle

·   Children's Activities:

    Inflatable Obstacle Course

    Tiki Climbing Wall

    Zoo Animals
