Contributions
The South Lansing Community Development Association works diligently to build a strong sense of community and shine a positive light on South Lansing. Despite economic challenges, we continue to teach garden and nutrition classes, help start community gardens, organize a seasonal farmers market, publish a community-wide newsletter, host a diverse summer festival, and present the largest sprint triathlon in Michigan.
Every year, we manage to do a little bit more with a little bit less. We manage well, but we can always use more help. Please consider supporting our efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to the SLCDA:
- Cash donations are used to purchase office supplies and expand programs.
- Sponsorships allow your business to support SLCDA events AND increase your corporate presence in South Lansing.
- In-Kind donations allow you to be creative with what you give and help us address everyday needs. We are currently looking for the following items:
- Office supplies (printer paper, ink cartridges, pens, zip ties, butterfly clips, post-it notes, etc.)
- Office furniture (gently used bookcases, office chairs, lamps, etc.)
- Gently used event canopies
- Garden supplies (seeds, jiffy trays, hand tools, gloves, rakes, stakes)
